Front Row Motorsports has signed David Ragan to drive the team’s No. 34 Sprint Cup Ford. David Gilliland will drive the team’s second Sprint Cup entry, the No. 38.
Richard Petty Motorsports has signed a multi-year sponsorship agreement with Smithfield Foods, the team announced. Smithfield will sponsor the No. 43 driven by Aric Almirola for 15 races, beginning with the 2012 Daytona 500 at Daytona International Speedway. Helping Hungry Homes, a Smithfield initiative, will sponsor the team for the season opening Daytona 500.

FoxSports.com is reporting that former president and general manager of Richard Petty Motorsports, Max Jones will join Earnhardt Ganassi Racing as team manager. Jones also served as general manager at Roush Fenway Racing prior to joining RPM.
Best Buy Co., Inc. announced that it has reached a deal with Roush Fenway Racing to serve as primary sponsor for Carl Edwards for two races and Matt Kenseth for nine races in 2012.
