According to a Dave Newton tweet, Kasey Kahne said that Richard Petty Motorsports has made him an offer to stay with the team after next season. But, Kahne said he wanted to see what other offers he gets. If he decides to leave, he could have his choice of four seats.
Kevin Harvick Inc announced that Rick Ren, crew chief of the Camping World Truck Series’ current Champion, Ron Hornaday, is leaving the organization to pursue a management opportunity within the sport, according to NASCAR.com.
Former American Motorcyclist Association champion Ricky Carmichael will leave Kevin Harvick Inc at the end of the Camping World Truck Series season to join Turner Motorsports. But, Carmichael will still receive equipment and technical support from KHI. He hopes to bring his Monster Energy Drink sponsorship with him to his new ride.
Jayski is reporting via ESPN Insiders that Danica Patrick is in talks with JR Motorsports and Michael Waltrip Racing about running eight races in the Nationwide Series — and perhaps some Camping World Truck Series or ARCA Series races. Kevin Harvick Inc hasn’t been ruled out yet, either.
